This project entailed the alteration of the existing kitchen area which included a small pantry kitchen, pantry, corridor and main kitchen. All areas had lowered ceilings and these were removed and redesigned to allow a new lighting scheme. Walls were stripped back and plastered and all plumbing and electrical systems re-newed. Asbestos was found and had to be removed under controlled conditions. The Small pantry kitchen was replaced first to allow the client to use this kitchen while all the other works continued. New Amtico floors were laid throughout and Hand made Fired Earth tiles were used. Smallbone's kitchen was then fitted and hand painted to the clients requirements. The complete area was redecorated and various windows were replaced. Other works involved plumbing repairs, roof repairs, new Aga flue, electrical upgrading and a new out house roof.
