Over the past 5 years Arc Management has been involved in the Refurbishment of Knock Castle. Knock is a List A protected building, built in 1851. Refurbishment began with the complete rewiring of the Castle. Re-slating and strip and renewal of gutters and flat roofs with new lead work followed. Considerable stone repair was required to parapets, chimneys, and worn stone to walls, window lintols and lancet arches were also replaced. During these works areas of water ingress, Wet Rot and Dry Rot were identified and repaired. Including the removal and repair of structural timbers and ornate cornacing. Walls have been repointed and windows refurbished. Alernative energy schemes have been installed and driveways have been resurfaced throughout the estate, including drainage improvement.
